New York Knicks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. believes the organization is building a great foundation following the 136-134 overtime win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.

The Knicks rallied from 14 down to grab a much-needed victory, and that has seemingly give Hardaway and others a nice boost of confidence and momentum.

According to Kevin Kernan of the New York Post, here's what Hardaway had to say about the team's future and how it involves the impressive recent play of rookie forward Kevin Knox:

“This is the culture we’re trying to build,” Hardaway said. “It’s the definition of it. He came out here ready to play against one of the top two teams in the East and he showed a lot of heart. He’s definitely one of the reasons why we won this game.”

Knox scored a season-high 26 points in the win over the Bucks while playing 37 minutes off the bench.

Hardaway played a team-high 47 minutes while scoring 21 points and adding eight assists on the night.

While it's only the Knicks' eighth win of the season, Hardaway may be onto something when he talks about the culture that's being built.

We've seen these types of wins catapult teams in the past, and given the furious rally to beat one of the better teams in the NBA, this may be exactly what David Fizdale's team needs to start stringing together some victories.

The Knicks return to the court on Monday night for an Eastern Conference showdown against the Washington Wizards.
