The firing of former head coach David Fizdale put assistant Mike Miller at the helm of the New York Knicks on an interim basis, but even his new job isn't safe.
According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, Miller could probably keep the job as long as the players in the locker room still respond to him, but there have already been ownership-level talks about potentially hiring a new coach this season if the team continues to fall apart,
No job is secure when things are going wrong, and Miller will soon find that out if he hasn't already. The Knicks gave up on Fizdale after 22 games and are 0-2 with Miller as the interim coach, now in the midst of a 10-game losing skid.

The Knicks have reportedly eyed Mark Jackson as a potential replacement, though the former player and ESPN analyst has given no indication that he's willing to take the call.
