Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook took some time on Saturday to attend the Sooners' football game wearing a #14 Sooners jersey top.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield may have caught wind of the fact that Westbrook would be at the game, and returned the love by wearing an ‘In Russ we Trust' T-shirt in the interview room, and out to the post-game press conference.

He took a picture to show his support for the Thunder star who recently signed an extension to remain with the team after the departure of Kevin Durant in free agency.

Westbrook is universally loved in Oklahoma right now, and they are expecting a big season from him as the lone leader of the team.

The NBA seasons starts in October, and the Thunder will face off against Durant and the Golden State Warriors for the first time in early November.
