Only a little more than a year removed from the departure of he who must not be named, the Oklahoma City Thunder faithful got another star to pair along their MVP star Russell Westbrook in the form of Paul George, who arrived in town moments ago.

A frenzy of fans welcomed the 6-foot-9 All-Star wing with phones, paper cutouts of his likeness and plenty of cheers as he came out of the plane, showered with chants of “PG” upon touching down.

Only time will tell if the Westbrook-George one-two punch will be one these fans see for a long time or if it will be nothing more than a one-year dream if he chooses to leave for his hometown Los Angeles Lakers the next offseason.
By the looks of it, he seems to have already endeared himself to these passionate fans.
