Russell Westbrook and the media tend to not exactly see eye-to-eye.

No matter how hard reporters may try, Westbrook is not letting them in and more prone to one-word answers that evade the responses media members would like to get from him.

So it's no surprise that when Westbrook was asked about the media potentially overrating playoff experience, this is the response he provided:

This is basically the most Westbrook response possible. He doesn't understand the media because he doesn't want to. He's more concerned with putting his head down and competing at the highest level every single night.

Westbrook's playoff performance this year will be extremely interesting. His first without Kevin Durant, it will be interesting to see how the triple-double machine fares on his own in a series against the Rockets.
