Russell Westbrook got back to setting records on Saturday.

In a matinee against the Phoenix Suns, Westbrook recorded 20 assists for the first time ever in his career as the Thunder rolled to the blowout victory.

Westbrook finished with 26 points, 22 assists and 11 rebounds giving him his first triple-double in the last three games as well. It was his 50th triple-double of his career.

The 22 assists were a Thunder record. Here's a look at the 20th dime:

A lot has been made over Westbrook's career that he is somewhat of a selfish player. Few players shoot it more than he does but he's now gotten to the point where almost no one picks up more assists.

Russ is tasking himself with trying to do more than any player in NBA history for the Thunder as they battle desperately for a playoff spot. The results have been mixed but always impressive.

This performance ranks right up there with some of Russ' best performances ever.
