It's officially the end of a (brief) era for the Oklahoma City Thunder's Chris Paul and the Houston Rockets. Paul, 34, reportedly listed his Houston-area home on the market, per Mansion Global. The house is on sale for a measly $8.3 million (if you have that kind of change lying around between couch cushions).

The Rockets traded the veteran point guard to the Thunder over the summer in exchange for star point guard Russell Westbrook, reuniting the former NBA MVP with shooting guard James Harden. The two played together for the Thunder during the franchise's early days in OKC, going to the 2012 NBA Finals together, alongside Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka.

It's unclear whether Paul, also the players association president since 2013, will stay in the Sooner State, however. It's possible the Thunder, definitely in rebuilding mode following the Westbrook and Paul George trades last month, find another trade partner to take on Paul, but at this point in the offseason most teams are hard-capped, and it would be more likely a third team is needed to help facilitate the deal due to Paul's contract. The six-foot floor general, a nine-time All-Star, is due to make more than $38 million during the next season, and he is also signed through 2022.

The Thunder do not exactly need Paul's services after acquiring the impressive prospect in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a 6-foot-6 guard and former Los Angeles Clippers lottery pick from the 2018 draft in the George deal. However, OKC could keep Paul, who originally arrived in Houston in June 2017, as a veteran mentor to the growingly younger Thunder squad coached by Billy Donovan.

Paul made the Western Conference Finals with the Rockets in 2018, where they fell in seven games to Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
