The Oklahoma City Thunder had an unexpected landing after another narrow loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, finding a sizable dent in the nose of their charter plane upon arriving at Chicago at 1 a.m. CT on Saturday, according to Royce Young of ESPN.
All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony posted a picture of the plane on Instagram upon landing safely with the rest of the team, puzzled by what could have hit the plane 30,000 feet high in the sky during that time of the night.

The Thunder left Minneapolis on Friday at 11:30 p.m. for a short flight to play the Bulls on Saturday.
Delta Airlines; who chartered the flight for the team, said the cause of the dent was most likely a bird making contact, according to Young.
According to Young, a team official said the flight was a bit rough, but not of extreme nature or out of the ordinary.
The rest of Anthony's teammates were just as puzzles as to what took place during the hour-plus they were airborne.

We had a rough flight to say the least.30000 feet in the air.

Young talent Josh Huestis noted just how noticeably dented the plane was when looking at it from its profile.
