Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George will be a game-time decision heading into Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to Erik Horne of The Oklahoman.

George will be re-evaluated before tonight's Western Conference tilt after having made progress with his sore right shoulder, which caused him to miss the last three games.

“He did a little bit more than he did yesterday and the day before,” said head coach Billy Donovan. “Any time he does anything physical (we) take some time to see how he responds.”

The Thunder have gone 1-2 without him in the lineup, now only holding a tiebreaker over the Portland Trail Blazers for the third seed in the West.

OKC has looked to others in the frontcourt to step up in his absence, as it was the case with Jerami Grant's 23-point explosion against the Philadelphia 76ers, falling only two points shy of his season-high, which he set against the San Antonio Spurs earlier in the year.

Steven Adams recently ensnared a monstrous 22 rebounds in a win against the Memphis Grizzlies, falling only one board shy of his season-high against the Sacramento Kings.

“Without him on the court, we’ve just got to adjust,” said Grant. “It just depends on personnel, who’s getting in the pick-and-roll. If it’s like size, we’re switching. If not, we’ve got to adjust.”

If George isn't healthy enough to take the floor tonight, the team will have to adjust, as Grant said, hoping to hold onto that third spot for dear life, as the middle of the race gets closer and closer.
