The Oklahoma City Thunder blew out the Washington Wizards Friday night on the road for their four-straight win, and Thunder star small forward Paul George reached a personal milestone.

George, 28, scored his 10,000th career point versus the Wizards at the free-throw line.

In 534 career games with the Indiana Pacers and Thunder, Paul George has career averages of 18.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists. He would have reached this milestone earlier in his career had he not suffered that gruesome leg injury during the summer of 2014 while playing for Team USA.

Along with scoring over 10,000 NBA points, Paul George is a five-time All-Star, has made the All-Defensive team three times, the All-NBA team four times, and was the 2013 Most Improved Player. The swingman signed a four-year, $136.9 million maximum contract with the Thunder in the offseason. It includes a fourth-year player-option.

Paul George only put up 7.8 points per game during his rookie season with the Pacers. Ever since then, he has raised his level of play and has not looked back. It shows how hard of a worker he is and his utmost dedication to the game of basketball.

George, along with Russell Westbrook, enjoy stability in Oklahoma City, having signed their own long-term contracts.
