Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook is comfortable with his ability to impact games even when he's not scoring a ton of points.
Westbrook had one of his lowest scoring outputs of the season in Sunday night's 105-103 loss to the Dallas Mavericks, as he notched just nine points while making only four of his 22 attempts from the field.
However, as usual, he was able to fill the stat sheet in other areas by adding nine rebounds, eight assists, and six steals for the Thunder.
And it's his ability to add value in so many different categories that make Westbrook not that worried about his contributions when he's off his game offensively, according to Thunder beat writer Erik Horne.
Russell Westbrook on if his approach changes when he’s not shooting well, says no. Says he’s the best rebounder, passer, defender at his position: “I don’t have to score 30 to impact the game.” pic.twitter.com/vib2263DiT

Russell Westbrook undoubtedly has one of the most unique skill sets in the NBA at his position, and his efforts over the years have proved that he can completely change a game on both sides of the court.

Of course, the Thunder would have loved to see him add a few more buckets against the Mavs, as it likely would have equaled a victory for Billy Donovan's group.
Oklahoma City now sits at 20-16 on the season after the loss, which was the team's third in its last four games.
Still, one rough game isn't going to have anyone questioning Westbrook's abilities, and he'll get an opportunity to get his revenge in Oklahoma City on Monday night when the Thunder prepare for a rematch with the Mavs.
After that, it's on to Hollywood for a showdown with the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.
