Since Russell Westbrook came on the scene in the NBA, he's always had an innate ability to fill up the stat sheet.

There's never been a season where the Oklahoma City Thunder star has not averaged at least 15 points, 4.9 assists and 5.3 rebounds. His numbers have increased steadily since his rookie year, according to Basketball Reference.

Last season, Westbrook accomplished something that no other player in NBA other than Oscar Robertson had done: average a triple double.

On Tuesday, Westbrook reached a statistical feat that, this team, leaves him alone in the record books, per Erik Horne of The Oklahoman.

Those stats are no anomaly. Not only did he average a triple-double last year, but he's also on the cusp of averaging one this year as well. He's putting up 22.5 points, 9.9 assists and 9.3 rebounds per game, and the Thunder have only played 23.

Much of those numbers have most likely been buoyed by this statistical tear over the last couple of seasons. But what's most impressive is the number of blocks. For a player at his position, it's rare to see that many.

This season marks the 10th for Westbrook. And he just turned 29 years old, so he looks to be just about in his prime, which means look out, rest of NBA. There's plenty more Brodie where this comes from.
