It was another standout performance for Westbrook, as he helped his team to its second straight victory. Aside from the triple-double, the former league MVP also logged a three-pointer, four steals, and an uncharacteristic one turnover in 33 minutes of action.
It turned out to be a routine victory from the home team, as the Thunder were able to hold off the shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies, 117-95. They were once again led by another strong performance from MVP candidate Paul George. The 6-foot-9 wing dropped 27 points on 7-of-16 shooting, along with six threes, five rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain currently holds the record of nine straight triple-doubles which he achieved way back in 1968.
Oklahoma City has three more games before the All-Star break, starting with a matchup against the Houston Rockets on Saturday. Should Westbrook notch another triple-double on that one, he will have a chance to better Chamberlain's record on Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers.
On the season, Westbrook is currently averaging 21.2 points (on 41.5 percent shooting from the field), 1.1 three-pointers, 11.1 rebounds, 11.2 assists, 2.3 steals, and 4.5 turnovers per contest.
