There seems to be one common talking point around the NBA this season: referees. Players are frustrated with the officials and they're frustrated with the way that players are talking to them.

One guy that likes to converse with the referees is Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams, but he doesn't have a ton of negative things to say about him. Instead, he is trying to figure out what he has done wrong so he can try to fix it to not have it happen again.

“Whatever they call, I am trying to go over and see what it actually was and see how I can not do it again. They are usually good about, like just keep your hands down or some Sh*t.”

Adams didn't even realize he swore and once he was told about it he smiled, laughed, and apologized for letting it slip.

Adams also talked about how his rookie year he wasn't allowed to talk to refs, because that is something that needs to be earned, and he hadn't earned it yet. He has gotten a better understanding now of how to use his body and not get called for the fouls, something he struggled at as a rookie.

For Adams, he has really improved since his rookie season and has become a key part of the Oklahoma City Thunder. This year he has played in 76 games averaging 13.9 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.

If the Thunder want to make a run in these playoffs, Adams staying out of foul trouble is going to be key.
