The NBA offseason has become an entertainment of its own. The numerous rumors sprouting left and right about where some of the key free agents are going have been a great filler to the gap left by the absence of real basketball action.

Enter ESPN, who will always find an opportunity to make a material out of this period of uncertainty by some NBA stars. Take for example their 3-part series revolving around how life is going for Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George during this offseason while he tries to make up his mind before he declares one of the biggest decisions in his basketball career.

The first episode of that series has already been released this Tuesday through SportsCenter.  You can watch that in entirety below.

Paul George can opt not to pick up his $20.7 million player option with the Thunder for the 2018-19 season. Doing so would make him both an unrestricted free agent in the market and a hot target for plenty of superstar-hunting teams. In his first season with the Thunder, George averaged 21.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.0 steals in 79 games.

There are certainly many things running through George’s mind right now, and the ESPN special does present an opportunity for basketball fans to get a glimpse and better understand how a player in such position is dealing with all the anxiety the free agency brings.
