Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook is dishing out assists on and off the court.
In the Thunder’s game versus the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena, Russell Westbrook surprised an Oklahoma City fan by giving him his game-worn shoes. What made the act even more remarkable was the fact that the fan wasn’t expecting it at all and was thunderstruck as proven by his reaction.
It’s the season of giving and thanking. #ThisIsWhyWePlay

It’s Thanksgiving, and Westbrook was undoubtedly in a giving mood in the game. Besides, the Thunder blew out Kevin Durant and the Warriors to the tune of 123-95.

Westbrook recorded a triple-double in the match-up, finishing with 11 points, 11 rebounds and 13 dimes — maybe 14 if you include that generous act towards the end of the game!
This isn’t the first time that Westbrook gave a fan his shoes. Most notably, he traded a shoe for a slice of pizza to a young Thunder fan last month. The 30-year-old, however, ended up passing on the slice of pizza.
Perhaps, this won’t be the last time that Westbrook will surprise a fan. With that said, it might be best to always sit behind him during games. After all, you never know when you’ll be able to bring home a piece of memorabilia.
