Russell Westbrook does not know when to take his foot off the pedal, and it’s a big part of his appeal. The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard is on a constant 100 MPH movement. He’s always looking for ways to dispense his vast reservoir of energy, which would have been an easier thing to do these days if the NBA season is on.
Since it’s the offseason, though, Brodie will just have to content himself going hard in a pickup game.
Take a look at the clip below which shows the former league Most Valuable Player making a mincemeat out of the poor ballers who found themselves guarding one of the most intense dudes the NBA has ever seen.

As you can see, Westbrook’s pull-up jumper remains as stainless during these dog days of the summer. After the Thunder got embarrassingly eliminated by the Utah Jazz in the first round of this year’s playoffs, Westbrook is looking to come back stronger for next season in hopes of leading Oklahoma City Thunder to a championship.
Of course, that’s going to be easier said than done, especially with LeBron James hitting the shores of the Western Conference, but Russell Westbrook is just not the type who will get discouraged easily. Godzilla can ink a deal with the Golden State Warriors right now, and it’ll only push Westbrook to go harder in the gym.
Last season, Westbrook finished with a triple-double stat line of 25.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 10.3 assists in 80 games for the Thunder.
