It's been almost two years since Kevin Durant left the Oklahoma City Thunder and chose the Golden State Warriors. It was a highly-controversial decision. Most NBA fans have already moved on. Some fans at OKC, however, are still bitter up to this very day.

Leading into tonight's game between the Warriors and Thunder, Durant received a mixture of cheers and boos from the crowd as he entered the court for early warm-ups. Below is a clip of the encounter:

As observed, Durant high-fived a few Warriors fans. But when other Thunder fans caught sight of Durant, the boos started to come in. Durant, however, seems unaffected by it. He's been so used to it right now that he feels comfortable in it.

Besides, he's not the first person ever to receive boos from a former team. Fellow superstars LeBron James, Tracy McGrady, among others, have been subject to bullying from their former home crowd.

As the years progress, perhaps Thunder fans and Durant will finally patch things up. Besides, Durant and Russell Westbrook have finally fixed their relationship. In their first few meetings, the two were jawing at each other. Come this year's All-Star break, the two were seen having some fun during warm-ups.

But until then, Durant better be ready for the furious Thunder crowd. The Warriors might even play against in the Thunder in the first round of the playoffs.

As reported by Monte Poole of NBC Bay Area, Durant feels that the possible matchup would be fun:

“It would be a fun, incredible matchup,” Durant said, warm to the subject. “They gave us some problems earlier this year. The last time we played them, we were the team we need to be against these guys.
