With the inductions of this year’s Hall of Fame class scheduled on Friday, the inductees have been busy the past few days attending dinners and other sponsored events of the memorial.
The class is top-billed by former seven-time NBA MVP and two-time scoring champion Tracy McGrady, who feels very blessed to be enshrined soon. According to Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen, T-Mac admitted that he feels he deserves the honor, as he knows he is one of the best players to ever play the game of basketball.
“I'm damn proud of going into the Hall of Fame,” McGrady said.
“When I see myself play, there was no doubt I was one of the best players playing. There's no doubt about that. Now, if you take what I did and put me on a winning team, now you're talking about one of the best of all times. So yes, I was one of the greats.”

There may be some that think that his name should not be included among the ranks of the greatest players ever, as he did not win an NBA title and also was not able to advance past the first round of the playoffs during his prime. However, there is no doubt that McGrady is a very talented player, was almost unstoppable, especially on the offensive end as he scored at will against the best defenders during his career.
The other greats to be inducted on the night are Bill Self, Rebecca Lobo, George McGinnis and Jerry Krause, posthumously. McGrady will be introduced by Hall of Fame point guard Isiah Thomas, who was the general manager of the Toronto Raptors back in 1997 and decided to draft him straight out of high school.
