This time, Victor Oladipo made sure LeBron James will not have a chance of blocking his shot. In the middle of what is looking like a lopsided victory for the Indiana Pacers in Game 6 of their series with the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday night, Oladipo shredded the Cavs’ defense and embarrassed LeBron James all in one play with this massive and disrespectful two-handed dunk.

In that sequence, Oladipo easily got by J.R. Smith’s lethargic defense before heading unencumbered into the shaded area where he was met by LeBron James. Clearly not intimidated by the four-time MVP’s presence, Oladipo unleashed his serious boing and went high for a throwdown that might as well serve as this game’s exclamation mark for Indiana, which definitely needs to win this game to extend their stay in the playoffs.
It was also a statement play for Victor Oladipo, who had an ugly shooting night in Game 5 in which he went 2-for-15 from the field to finish with only 12 points.
The Pacers are currently leading the Cavs by more than 20 points, so it’s fair to expect that this series will go the distance.
Game 7 is scheduled this Sunday in Cleveland, where the Pacers are only 2-3 in their last five games there.
