After getting finger poked to the moon, Sixers big man Dwight Howard is suspended for a single game. The news isn't shocking, as it's regular NBA procedure for a player to get booted for a game after earning 16 technical fouls.
The news was “reported” by some guy from Stadium.
For those unaware, Dwight Howard got into it with returning Miami Heat veteran Udonis Haslem after the latter made his season debut and decided three minutes of action was enough before he lost his marbles.
Article Continues BelowNothing insanely bonkers went down. Haslem stuck his finger toward the Sixers veteran a few times, earning himself an ejection.
Again, it is worth noting harshly since it's objectively hilarious: Haslem was making his season debut. He only played a grand total of three minutes. In those three minutes, he got a standing ovation, scored some points, then nearly attempted to yell at Dwight Howard to the point refs tossed him.
As for the Sixers, they lost the game. Not exactly a big deal. Nor is losing Dwight Howard for a single game. It's not going to impact the postseason that much; though Philly would probably like to lock up that one seed in the Eastern Conference.
