Philadelphia 76ers star small forward Jimmy Butler wants Sixers second-year guard Markelle Fultz to know the team wants him to be great and that he has their full support.
Fultz is currently away from the team meeting with multiple shoulder specialists and won’t participate in full practices or games until the specialist has had the opportunity to evaluate him.

In 19 games this season, Markelle Fultz is averaging 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists while shooting 41.9 percent from the field, 28.6 percent from beyond the arc and 56.8 percent from the free-throw line. The former No. 1 overall pick still has a nasty hitch in his shot and his free-throw routine is just as ugly.
Fultz has been the subject of trade rumors recently. Both his agent and head coach, Brett Browns, have denied the rumors. Nevertheless, the rumors will remain all season until Fultz can get his jump shot back in order. The question now is whether or not he can ever regain his old form that made him the No. 1 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
