After the release of other NBA teams' new uniforms, the Philadelphia 76ers have followed suit, as they recently revealed what their jerseys will look like next season.

The team unveiled the designs via their Twitter account, that also comes with a video where this year’s first overall pick, Markelle Fultz, starred in. The jerseys include the logo of their corporate sponsors, StubHub, and were made by Nike.

“For this to be my first NBA jersey and the first time putting it on, I’m lucky and fortunate enough to wear this across my chest and play for this team.”

In addition to the association and icon jerseys that were shared in the piece made by Jessica Camerato of CSN Philly, there will also be some other designs that set to come out in the near future, each inspired by a community in Philadelphia.

Sixers chief sales & marketing officer Chris Heck also spoke about their excitement with the other surprise uniforms, which they feel positive about, especially in capturing the passion of their fans from those communities.

“We are confident that the next two jerseys we unveil will additionally capture the spirit of this historic city, the imagination of new Philadelphia, and the passion of our loyal fans. Before the 2017-18 season has even begun, our ‘Welcome to the Moment’ campaign has generated national recognition and acclaim, and we look forward to continuing the momentum as the season progresses.”

With the 76ers missing out on the playoffs the past five years, this coming season may see the end of that losing slump as their vastly improved lineup consisting of their young core can all finally play together. They already have the key pieces set, as well as the jerseys, and next year could be the reward for them after trusting the process.
