For the Sixers to win the title in 2019-20, Ben Simmons will have to have some resemblance of a perimeter game. The lefty worked hard this offseason on his jump shot and is looking forward to the upcoming season.
This is a good step in the right direction, but we need to see Simmons hit this shot in a regular season game, on a consistent basis and against an NBA team.

Simmons signed a five-year, $170 million maximum rookie contract extension with the Sixers this summer. Last season, Simmons averaged 16.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 7.7 assists while shooting 56.3 percent from the field. He recorded 42 double-doubles and 10 triple-doubles.
The Sixers have a great chance to win the Eastern Conference this season now that Kawhi Leonard is out West. Philly will go as far as Simmons and star center Joel Embiid can take them. The acquisitions of Josh Richardson and Al Horford were big. The Sixers now have four elite defenders on the team.
