The Philadelphia 76ers came away with a 115-101 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night, but that wasn't the only reason fans of the team were happy.

Several teams around the NBA have halftime events, and the Sixers are no different. During the break in Wednesday's game, one lucky fan was called on to participate in the team's on-court challenge. The fan was given 45 seconds to make a lay-up, a free throw, then a half-court shot.

As it turns out, the young man managed to complete the challenge, which resulted in free chicken biscuit sandwiches from Chick-fil-A for the entire arena. To be fair, he does possess a nice-looking stroke from the outside, which, based on the eye test, instantly lifted the hopes of fans inside the arena.

As they say, not all heroes wear capes. In this case, he comes in a classic Sixers jersey.

Joel Embiid led the Sixers in Wednesday's win with 22 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field (1-of-2 from beyond the arc), five rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in 32 minutes of playing time. Dario Saric finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and an overall plus/minus rating of +31. Meanwhile, rookie Ben Simmons also had a great game, scoring 19 points, 17 rebounds, 14 assists, and two blocks — a monster triple-double which puts him in elite company alongside the great Larry Bird and Wilt Chamberlain.

The Sixers, winners in eight of their last ten games, will be back in action on Friday night, as they're scheduled for a match-up in San Antonio against the Spurs. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. EST.
