Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton has been dealing with soreness in his right ankle. Fortunately for the Phoenix rookie, it looks like he'll be able to suit up in Saturday night's game on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies.

This is great news for the Phoenix Suns.The injury appeared to have occurred last week around the time the Suns played the Denver Nuggets and has been lingering ever since. The Suns have had a few days in between games to allow Ayton a little bit of rest
Ayton has been fantastic so far this season and appears to be playing through the injury. His team's most recent game was Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Lakers. Ayton posted an impressive stat line with 22 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks in 31 minutes.

Ayton is averaging 16.3 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists while maintaining a 62.8 shooting percent.

There was no secret coming into this season that Deandre Ayton is an incredibly talented player. The 1st overall pick in the 2018 draft averaged 20.1 points and 11.6 rebounds in his lone season at Arizona. Ayton is appearing to possess similar versatility similar to New York Knicks star Kristaps Porzingis. At 7'1″ and 250 pounds, he's a force on both sides of the court and could give Memphis a lot of trouble on Saturday night.
