The Phoenix Suns got some bad news ahead of their showdown with the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday. Not only does Devin Booker remain out due to health and safety protocols, but Cam Johnson is also joining him on the sidelines after sustaining an injury.

According to Kellan Olson of 98.7 Arizona Sports, Johnson has been ruled out of the game because of a quad problem. Apparently, he took a hit to the right thigh from Mitchell Robinson's knee during their win over the New York Knicks, which resulted in a quad contusion.

Here's the video of the play that led to Johnson's injury:

This is certainly frustrating news for the Suns, who are already without Chris Paul as well. Cam Johnson has been a major positive for Phoenix in their back-to-back wins, so his absence will be absolutely felt come Sunday.

It is also worth mentioning that he saved the Suns from the verge of defeat against the Knicks on Friday. Aside from exploding for a career-high 38 points, Johnson banked the buzzer-beating triple to give them the W.

With another player down and out for Phoenix, it'll be up to Mikal Bridges and Deandre Ayton to carry the scoring load. Cameron Payne is also expected to step up as coach Monty Williams looks at all his options to keep the team afloat in this rough stretch.
