C.J.McCollum put the Moda Center on fire after lighting up the Chicago Bulls for 50 points in three quarters last night, as the Trail Blazers walked away with a comfortable 124-108 home win.

Funnily enough, the Blazers two-guard was asked what he'd remember the most during this career-high night, and to everyone's surprise — he said his 92-year-old grandma.

“She's up right now, she's a soldier, she's going to have some wine with me, maybe some Henny,” joked McCollum, according to Orlando Sanchez of KGW TV Portland.

McCollum had a night to remember, and if there was a reason to celebrate with wine and Hennessy — this would be the one to pop bottles with good ole gran-gran.

The Blazers shooting guard made 18-of-25 from the floor, 6-of-9 from deep, and an infallible 8-of-8 from the free-throw line — sealing the third quarter with a made shot at the charity stripe to become the sixth player to reach the milestone this season.

“Oh, we're gonna have a lot of pinot tonight,” McCollum added in his post-game interview.

The Blazers have started to come together as of late, winning seven of their last eight games and propelling themselves into sixth place in a heavily-contested Western Conference, only one game behind the Oklahoma City Thunder for fifth place and 1.5 behind the Minnesota Timberwolves for fourth.

McCollum's latest effort has him dead set at a 22-point-per-game average, still part of one of the most dynamic backcourts with Damian Lillard at his side.
