Fans of the Portland Trail Blazers are definitely happy that they have Damian Lillard. After all, the man is putting the Blazers on his back in spite of the horrible form they find themselves subject to. His talent and loyalty to the Blazers is something that many fans love about him.
They suddenly find more reasons to keep on cheering for their point guard as he reaches another impressive milestone during the Blazers' tight contest against the Dallas Mavericks. The Blazers revealed that he's the fourth player in the modern NBA to reach 14,000 in only eight seasons of play.
The Blazers reiterated how lucky they were to get a scoring guard as talented as Lillard.

The exclusive company Lillard joins in this feat are all terrific basketball players who transformed the game. LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Kevin Durant are surely bound to be headed to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame when they decide to hang up their sneakers.
While Lillard is still far from calling it quits on his career, he's not having a great time, either. The Blazers are mightily struggling in the Western Conference, and his team finds it hard to but a win no matter what they do. Fortunately for them, Lillard is playing fantastic basketball. He's averaging 26.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 7.6 assists on 44% shooting. He and CJ McCollum are the only reasons why the Blazers aren't fighting the Golden State Warriors for the title of worst team in the association.
They, unfortunately, come short against the Dallas Mavericks, but Dame Time will continue on for Portland. As long as Lillard plays top basketball, they still have a chance of making a deep run in the playoffs.
