Portland Trail Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard, who was born and raised in Oakland, is sad that the Golden State Warriors and Oakland Raiders are no longer in Oakland.
The Warriors play in San Francisco now. While the Raiders are still in Oakland at the moment, they are moving to Las Vegas:

Lillard is a hero to a lot of kids in Oakland. The Blazers star has always used his platform for good and that will never change.
Article Continues BelowA lot of kids from Oakland unfortunately get caught up in drugs and the gang world. Lillard wants to make sure that doesn’t happen and to work hard to create a world in which the youth from his hometown have a future.
Luckily for those kids, they have an incredible role model to look up to in Lillard. The Blazers’ best player has never gotten in trouble with the law and always sets a good example for kids.
Lillard does a lot of charity work in Oakland and that will never change no matter how much his star status in the league grows.
Through the Blazers' first six games of the season, Lillard is averaging 29.8 points and 7.8 assists while shooting 47.6 percent from the field.
