The Portland Trail Blazers have officially advanced to the Western Conference Finals where they will take on the four-time defending Western Conference champions Golden State Warriors, and Damian Lillard is crediting the team's culture for their success.

Lillard struggled offensively all game long, but he managed to contributed in other ways. he eventually finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and three steals. CJ McCollum picked up the slack on the offensive end with his 37 points, propelling Portland to a 100-96 victory.

After the game, Lillard opened up about the team's success and credited his teammates for buying in on what they have built as a team.

The Blazers are now headed to their first Western Conference Finals in 19 years. The last time they reached the stage was way back in 2000, during which they bowed down to the Los Angeles Lakers in seven games

Portland now has another difficult task in front of them as they face the Warriors. The Dubs are looking to make it to five straight NBA Finals appearances, having already overcome what pundits call their biggest challenge in the form of the Houston Rockets.

Even with a banged up Kevin Durant in the mix, Portland will surely need to unload everything in its arsenal in order to be victorious.
