Damian Lillard once again got the best of Russell Westbrook in the second meeting this month between the Portland Trail Blazers and Houston Rockets. Lillard buried a couple of long-range bombs right in front of Westbrook, inciting the question: just how far can he shoot from?
The Blazers star was asked if he'd consider shooting from the other side of the logo and apparently he has, but he has kept himself from doing so to prevent giving his coach Terry Stotts a heart attack:
“Yeah, but Terry would probably lose it if I did that,” said Lillard after the game, according to Casey Holdahl of Blazers.com.

Lillard had no problem showing Westbrook and the Rockets the full extent of his range, making it look nearly effortless and making truth of his nickname, “Logo Lillard.”
To make matters even more exciting, Lillard did his best Westbrook impression in a much more efficient manner, putting up a 36-point, 10-rebound, 11-assist triple-double en route to a 125-112 win to get a 2-1 edge in the season series.
Lillard's range has proved simply unstoppable in the last two seasons, ever since he worked at it incessantly in the wake of a first-round sweep at the hands of the New Orleans Pelicans in 2018.
Dame has canned five or more triples in his last five games, shooting a ridiculous 38-of-71 (53.5%) from deep in this recent scoring barrage. Lillard is averaging a league-leading 33.1 points per game in January and has scored 34 or more points in his last six outings.
