Damian Lillard put the finishing touches in a spectacular series against the Oklahoma City Thunder with a 50-point masterpiece and a game-winning shot from 37 feet out at the end of regulation, a jumper he considered the last word in a trash talk war between his Portland Trail Blazers and a rowdy Thunder team.
“There's been a lot of back-and-forth, a lot of talk. That was the last word,” said Lillard. “That was having the last word.”

Lillard stayed level-headed throughout the series, especially after the insane amount of trash talk coming from OKC after they won Game 3 of the series. The Blazers buckled down and won Game 4 on the road, but nothing made the last statement like Lillard's cold-blooded three from afar.
With the score tied at 115 after Lillard had knifed his way to the basket for a layup and a consequent stop at the other end, the Blazers franchise player squared up against the Thunder's best defender, Paul George, and side-stepped to the right before unleashing a long bomb that put OKC's playoff hopes to rest.

Lillard's shot was a f*** you shot over the Thunder — nothing more disrespectful and savvy than taking on the best and uncorking some long-range fury to close out the series.
Dame capped a 50-point outing with his 10th 3-pointer of the game, over the Thunder's best player, all without saying a single word — as his long-range forages had done all the talking he or his team needed to do.
Logo Lillard? Yeah, we sure think so.
