Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins and Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard are close friends off the court, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that Lillard is one of Cousins' favorite players to watch in the NBA.

Lillard has made the All-Star team four times, but there's been a lot of seasons where he should have made it and he didn't because he plays in a small market city like Portland.

Cousins believes Lillard would get a lot more hype if he played in a city like New York. Boogie also says Dame “is one of the most underrated players in this league.”

“Man, Dame is one of the most underrated players in this league,” Cousins told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. “It's funny like I just…I feel like if you had Dame in a New York…you had that type of talent in a LA or Chicago or one of the big time markets, he'd be one of the greatest players of all-time.”

Damian Lillard has spent his entire career with the Blazers and he's been very open about how he wants to retire in Portland.

The 28-year-old doesn't care about awards. He just wants to win and win with the Blazers.

Dame is averaging 26.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game this season. Portland is 46-27.
