Portland Trail Blazers big man Enes Kanter is not known for making three-pointers. Actually, he is not really known for shooting jump shots at all, but during the Blazers' double-overtime win over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night, Kanter took a beautiful behind-the-back pass from Damian Lillard and canned a triple to the delight of everyone other than the Nets.

Pick-and-pops with Kanter? Who would have thought?
The center finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds in the win, and his playing time is about to get ramped up for the rest of the year, as fellow big man Jusuf Nurkic suffered a devastating leg injury that knocked him out for the remainder of the season.
Perhaps Kanter has some more treys left in him for a Blazers playoff run.

The 26-year-old arrived in Portland in February after being waived by the New York Knicks. In 15 games with the Blazers thus far, Kanter is averaging 10.4 points and 7.1 rebounds over 18.5 minutes per game while shooting 54.1 percent from the floor and 81 percent from the free-throw line.
On the season overall, Kanter is registering 13.1 points and 9.6 boards across 23.8 minutes a night while making 53.7 percent of his field-goal attempts and 81.3 percent of his foul shots.
Kanter, who played his collegiate basketball at the University of Kentucky, was originally selected by the Utah Jazz with the third overall pick of the 2011 NBA Draft.
He spent his first three-and-a-half years in Utah before being traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder midway through the 2014-15 campaign. Kanter then resided in Oklahoma City for two-and-a-half seasons and was ultimately dealt to the Knicks shortly before the 2017-18 season.
