After Friday night's ridiculous four overtime playoff game between the Portland Trailblazers and Denver Nuggets, most of the sports-watching world is pretty tired. That includes Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr, who was also up watching the game.

Speaking to the media ahead of today’s Game 3 between the Warriors and Houston Rockets, Kerr said that he did stay up to watch the game, but joked that he “wanted to go to sleep” once the overtimes kept coming.
When asked if he could imagine playing 65 minutes, the incredible amount that Nikola Jokic played, Kerr also joked that he’d never gotten close to that number, quipping that it was closer to his total number of minutes played in a postseason.

Kerr went on to praise the resiliency of the Blazers and Nuggets before saying that he thinks the young nature of both teams would help them in overcoming any fatigue. Although, with nearly every starter on the Blazers and Nuggets having played an hour of basketball yesterday, it would be tough to imagine any of them being fresh for Game 4.
Even more surprising than the extended nature of last night’s game is that Rodney Hood emerged as a hero for the Blazers. He scored eight of the final nine points for Portland, including the go-ahead three-pointer that ended up being the deciding factor.
As the basketball world now turns to the Rockets and Warriors, Kerr must turn his focus to taking a commanding 3-0 lead in the second-round series. Hopefully for him, he won't have to play any of his starters for a full hour.
