The Toronto Raptors and Kyle Lowry have a lot to smile about these days including a hilarious statistic related to the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles making it to Super Bowl. Lowry posted a tweet on his Instagram account from Sports Blogger Kyle Scott that he found to be prophetic in nature.

The Raptors’ point guard was tossed out of the game against the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center last week. He had a run-in with Sixers rookie Ben Simmons and were both ejected with 6.5 seconds remaining in the game. The Raptors lost that game 111-117 but Lowry was able to find a silver lining in the unfortunate turn of events that day.

Scott posted his humorous take on what he thought was a sign of the Eagles’ good fortune.

The Eagles are headed for the Super Bowl with the chance to win it all, something the fans and the organization have been waiting for in 58 years.

Lowry is certainly cheering for the Eagles to win. For one, he was born in Philadelphia and went to college in Villanova.

The Raptors have a game at home against the Memphis Grizzlies on Feb. 4, the day when the Eagles and the New England Patriots will duke it out in Minnesota for the right to take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy. That said, the Raptors' game against Memphis is scheduled six hours earlier than Super Bowl LII, so Lowry can still find time to watch the game from Toronto.

Perhaps there’s another statistic related to Lowry that predicts how the Eagles will fare on February 4 when they face the New England Patriots.

Until then, the winner of Super Bowl LII is anybody’s guess.
