It is now being reported that the Sacramento Kings may eye Kawhi Leonard through a potential trade with the San Antonio Spurs.
For the opposite of initiated, on Friday huge news was reported that Kawhi Leonard wanted out of dodge, which is a fancy way of saying he wanted to be traded from the San Antonio Spurs.
Since then, it has been reported that the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers were “favorites” of the forward's. Now, as reports quickly surface like a pimple on the face of a teenager, the Kings are apparently in the mix.
Another team to watch in the Kawhi sweepstakes: Sacramento. Kings have talked to teams about the No. 2 pick, per sources, and desperately want an established star.

The Kings do have plenty of young talent to offer alongside such a quality draft pick — unlike some of the other franchises already rumored to be in the mix for Leonard's services.
On the opposite side, for the Spurs, who will likely enter a very small form of rebuilding (they were fine without Leonard last year), it could open the door to drafting someone like Jaren Jackson Jr. or any of the other quality prospects that will be available with the second overall pick.
With the NBA Draft quickly approaching, while free agency is looming, if Leonard is moved in the offseason it will likely be done so sooner rather than later.
