The Sacramento Kings could get pretty expensive as soon as next season, making impending restricted free agent Bogdan Bogdanovic a key player to watch at the upcoming trade deadline. While the Kings don't necessarily have to trade him soon, the Serbian guard is likely to command a starting salary of $16 or $18 million next summer, according to ESPN Insider Bobby Marks.
The range of offers will start at the qualifying $10.7 million, but due to his restricted free agent status, the Kings could fetch multiple first-round picks for him, according to an NBA executive.
This could be a welcome boon for the Kings, who just gave Buddy Hield a four-year, $94 million deal, with $86 million guaranteed. The Kings also re-signed Harrison Barnes in the summer for $85 million over four years, as well as Dewayne Dedmon for $40 million through three years and Cory Joseph for a three-year, $37.2 million deal.

Fox was putting up 18.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game before his injury, showing he has the promise to be the team's point guard of the future.
Marvin Bagley III could also command an extension of his rookie contract two years down the road, which makes getting something in return for Bogdanovic of utmost importance if they don't want to pay him. The Kings like Bogey, but they clearly chose Hield as their priority this summer, making the Serbian guard expendable in the near future.
