The San Antonio Spurs have a reputation as one of the classiest organizations in all of sports. If they were looking to build on that, it seems that they may have made a good decision on draft night with former Washington Huskies point guard, Dejounte Murray.

On Thursday night, the NBA 2K series of video games released their latest edition, NBA 2K17. Basketball fans and gamers all around the world rushed out to get their hands on the game, excited by what the new version may have in store. Although, not everyone had the luxury to do so.

It seems as though Murray went out of his way to actually purchase the game for a surprised fan who couldn’t afford to make the purchase. Now, like thousands around the world, the Spurs fan will be able to enjoy the game.

Murray is likely to spend the majority of the forthcoming season in the D-League, with veteran guard Tony Parker and Australian backup Patty Mills filling the spots at his position.

While he will have to prove himself on the court to earn minutes on Gregg Popovich’s team, there is nothing quite like a sign of unprompted good will to win the affections of a fan-base.
