San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili already knows how long he'll be playing in the NBA.

He told reporters that he uses a simple method to determine when he will walk away from the game.

As long as I’m happy and enjoying [basketball] on a daily basis. That’s [been] my goal in the last two or three years.

Last season, Ginobili averaged  9.6 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in limited games, but he isn't done yet.

This summer, he signed a deal with the Spurs for one year at $14 million because he still has more basketball left in the tank.

He's also played his last game for the Argentinian National team in the Rio Olympics averaging 15.0 points, 3.5 assists, and 3.0 rebounds.

For the time being, his body is not betraying him, and he has plenty of wisdom to share.

That's all a recipe for his career in the NBA to continue as long as he sees fit for himself.

Once Tim Duncan retired, many thought Ginobili would follow, but he sees things differently.

Those type of decisions that defines your future …  and family and all of that usually doesn’t depend on what Tim does. I just felt like I still wanted to do it. That I can help the team. That I enjoy it. That I’m healthy. That was the main key.

The best news for those that love to watch him play, Ginobili says he has no time frame for retirement.
