Many things will start to disappear throughout an NBA player's career, sometimes the speed, the athleticism, or the willingness to get fouled — for Manu Ginobili, the most obvious thing that's disappeared has been his hair.
Coming into the league as a long-haired shifty 25-year-old, Ginobili's flowing locks as he blew past defenders on his way to the rim were one of the signature moments of his evolution into the NBA game.
Teammate Patty Mills took his shot at those memories when the San Antonio Spurs Twitter account posted a throwback collage of the Argentinian in his old days with now-retired Tim Duncan.
The hugs, the head pats, the friendship.

Though the self-deprecating sixth man had his chance to take the last shot with this timeless GIF.
But late in my career he restored it all…
I now choose this current hairstyle. 😉 pic.twitter.com/Wnt79JZRHV— Manu Ginobili (@manuginobili) December 17, 2016
We all knew Tim had a little magic in him.
Well played, Manu.
