San Antonio Spurs guard Danny Green appears to be enjoying his summer break so far. If his Instagram feed is any indication then the 30-year-old seems to have fully embraced the Japanese culture.
Green treated the internet to a recent Instagram post showing himself fully-clad in Samurai armor. The North Babylon, New York native is currently in Japan promoting the Spurs and the NBA.

According to his post, he will now be heading to Shanghai, China presumably as part of his promotional tour. Green would definitely want to be back on American soil as soon as he can so that he can restore his focus on the incoming 2018-19 NBA season.
It has been a disappointing season for the Spurs as they simply could not break away from all the drama of the Kawhi Leonard saga. Unfortunately, the situation remains uncertain up to this date and the future of the franchise remains in question. Whether or not the front office decides to offload Leonard or not will have a tremendous impact on the team as well as Green.
For his part, Green will be entering the final year of his four-year contract and similar to that of the Spurs, there is a big question mark in the direction his career will take. Although he is expected to pick up his player option in the 2017-18 season, there is always a possibility that Green decides to abandon ship. A lot of contending teams would be very interested in acquiring the services of the former All-Defensive team member.
