Popovich's answer is intriguing yet representative of how dire the situation is with Leonard. The head coach, in theory, should know what's going on with the team both on and off the court with regard to personal matters.

When asked about such concerns, the veteran bench boss usually articulates his thoughts very well. Yet from his answer, it seems like he's distancing away from matters concerning Leonard.

Is Leonard slowly creeping away from the franchise? Does he trust the Spurs' medical staff? More importantly, does he at least plan to communicate with the Spurs regularly?

We can only hunch at this moment. Leonard, in his usual self, has not spoken too much about the matter at hand. We can just hope that he's doing alright.
