Steve Kerr had a heart-warming moment with his friend and former teammate Manu Ginobili after the Golden State Warriors closed out their first-round series against the San Antonio Spurs with a 99-91 win on Game 5.
The two were seen embracing before Ginobili was met by a sea of fans and reporters hoping to get his take on his impending future.
Kerr had beaten them by a few seconds, asking the question everyone was dying to know the answer to.
“Keep going, OK?” Kerr told Ginobili, encouragingly, according to Bud Geracie of the San Jose Mercury News.
Kerr shared a small story with Ginobili about meeting Roger Federer, the 36-year-old Swiss tennis extraordinaire.

The Warriors coach yelled one last bit of praise before Ginobili disappeared into the visitors' locker room: “You remind me of him, by the way.”
Ginobili and Kerr crossed paths for one season in the league as members of the Spurs — the 2002-03 season was Kerr's last of his 15 seasons and Ginobili's rookie season of what has been 16 seasons in the league.
The Argentinian wizard will once again evaluate his future after taking a couple of months off, making it a family decision as he did last season, when he signed a two-year, $5 million deal to return to the Spurs.
He averaged 9.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game over five games in this first-round series against the Warriors.
