The San Antonio Spurs are behind 0-2 in their first-round series matchup with the Golden State Warriors but getting back from that hole is something Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is understandably not thinking about as of the moment.
In a statement released earlier by the Spurs, it was revealed that Popovich’s wife, Erin, passed away today due to an undisclosed illness.
And now, the entire NBA fraternity is coming together, mourning as one the passing of Erin.
Here are some of reactions to Erin’s death from members of the NBA family.

Warriors superstar Kevin Durant is about to lead his team this Thursday in Game 3 of the series against San Antonio, but he, too, was shocked when informed of Erin’s passing.
Popovich is going to need plenty of support during this difficult time in his life, and the NBA is surely doing its part of giving the future Hall of Famer coach that.
