Zaza Pachulia took a lot of heat from the San Antonio Spurs‘ fans after he appeared to have intentionally undercut Kawhi Leonard in the third quarter of Game 1 of their second round playoff series. After challenging Leonard's three-point attempt, the All-Star forward landed on Pachulia's foot, causing him to reaggravate his ankle injury, and forcing him to miss the remainder of the game.
During a postgame interview, the Golden State Warriors center explained his side and said that he did not purposely try to hurt him. Pachulia added that he was just doing his job and even went as far as saying that the accusations made against him are “really stupid.”

To be fair, Leonard has also spoken about the incident and made it known that he feels it wasn't done intentionally. However, clips of the play have been on social media, where the Spurs supporters have made it known that they think otherwise.
Leonard is scheduled to undergo some tests to check on the real condition of his ankle. Their team doctors and trainers will once again have their hands full as they will give him quick treatment ahead of Game 2. It also remains to be seen if the NBA will issue Pachulia with a fine or suspension if they deem the incident as a “dirty move” on his part.
