Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is no stranger when it comes to fraternizing with Philadelphia sports fans – and he has showed again here why he is a clear fan favorite for the Sixers.

Though Embiid's antics off the court were pure entertainment, he and the Sixers were all business when it came to their in-game performance.

Embiid finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds in a game where the team essentially cruised the entire night, beating the Washington Wizards 132-115.

Sixers forward Jimmy Butler dropped in 20 as well, with second-year point guard Ben Simmons following with 19 points, nine assists and five rebounds for Philly. However, rookie shooting guard Landry Shamet stole the show from the Sixers' Big Three with another impressive performance this season, scoring 29 points and knocking down a career-high eight three-pointers.

Meanwhile, All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal led the Washington Wizards with 28 points on the night, going 11-of-18 from the field.

The win improves the Sixers to 27-14 on the year and 18-3 at home.

Despite all of the noise recently regarding the negative reports about Butler being displeased with his role on the team, there hasn't seemed to be any signs of regression as the middle of the season approaches.

With still another half of the season yet to play, Sixers head coach Brett Brown must continue to find ways of keeping Butler heavily involved in the offensive gameplan moving forward if they want to retain one of the top spots in the Eastern Conference.

Philadelphia is currently in the top half of the best records in the East, joined by the Indiana Pacers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Toronto Raptors.
