The Oklahoma City Thunder (32-24) recently hit another rough patch in their 2017-18 season with four straight losses. A few days ago, Thunder All-Star forward Paul George sat down with Rachel Nichols of ESPN to discuss the relationship he's developed with teammates Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony as well as his decision to not to go to his hometown team, the Los Angeles Lakers, over the offseason.

“I obviously would’ve loved to go home. That was ideal when it was that time,” George told Nichols. “But now, being here and playing alongside Russ, playing alongside Melo, I feel a real brotherhood with those guys. If we’re here right now, then where can we be next year? Where can we be the year after that?”

As far as his future goes, he said he's currently happy where he's at with the Thunder. However, he won't rule anything out when it comes to the Lakers.

“Of course, LA is home, so that’s always going draw the attention. But we’ll see. I won’t rule anything out, but I’m definitely happy where I’m at,” George said. “I like where we’re going, and I want to see how this unfolds.”

According to a tweet from Thunder beat writer Fred Katz of the Norman Transcript, coach Donovan responded to George's comments on Tuesday afternoon and his confidence in the group of players he has on his team right now.

“I said this from the beginning, I feel very confident about the group because of their ability to communicate and work with one another and try to constantly work to get better,” Donovan said of his star trio. “That's been the most positive part. So, those guys have built a great relationship, not only those three guys but I think our whole entire team. I feel really good about the chemisty and the connection and the bond that those guys have.”

George and the Thunder put their four-game losing streak behind them and took it to superstar forward Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night at Oracle Arena. Even though Anthony was only able to play six minutes due to a sprained ankle, OKC made a statement and crushed Golden State with a 125-105 victory.
