Russell Westbrook was noticeably silent when the whole controversy surrounding Kevin Durant and his criticism of the Oklahoma City Thunder while supposedly using another Twitter account broke a few weeks ago.
The Thunder superstar liked an Instagram post by now-former teammate Enes Kanter’s response to Durant, but that was about it.
Until now.
@SheaSerrano thought you might appreciate Brodie's postgame outfit. 👊🏾💯

Westbrook, who has a habit of making interesting wardrobe choices, may have done it again after he wore an “Adopt a cat” T-shirt after the Thunder's preseason game against Melbourne United, which user @mrjohnmichael tweeted a picture of.
In Durant’s critical tweet of the Thunder, he referred to other Thunder players as “cats” and said he can’t win a championship with them.
Knowing Westbrook and his penchant for sending subtle messages, particularly to his former running mate Durant, chances are this isn’t a mere accident. He also made a seemingly coincidental choice to sign his contract extension on Durant's birthday a couple weeks ago.
The reigning MVP just seems to like making those types of digs at Durant, and even though it’s now been over a year since the two have separated, it doesn’t look like Westbrook is quite ready to stop anytime soon.
